SANTA CLARITA, Los Angeles County — 2026 election update. Two other Santa Clarita City Council districts show separate leading candidates in the latest election table.

Reported results

District 4: Laurene Weste has 6,781 votes (52.53%), Valerie Bradford 3,558, Nick Somers 1,760, Jeffrey Berman 530 and Peter Yahiayan 280. District 5: Kelvin Driscoll has 6,661 (49.10%), Bob Khalsa 5,660 (41.73%) and Liliia Chernova 1,244.

What voters decided

Weste’s reported District 4 lead over Bradford is 3,223 votes, while Driscoll leads Khalsa by 1,001 in District 5. These are two independent one-seat elections, not a combined race with District 2. Election-night returns may continue to change as the county processes eligible ballots.

Reporting and verification

These numbers are from the November 2026 live election results listing available following the November 3 vote. The displayed table is subject to change, and its page publication date is not necessarily the update timestamp of every individual contest. This article does not claim that an official November 5 ballot batch has been independently confirmed. Los Angeles County is continuing the official canvass and will certify its results later.
